Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon, Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit

Miss Garner is an honorary Senior Clinical Research Fellow and post-CCT Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery Fellow at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. Her PhD at Imperial College investigated compartmental replacement of the knee: the use of two or more partial knee replacements within the same knee to target diseased compartments whilst sparing the anterior cruciate ligament and healthy bone. Miss Garner was supervised by Professor Justin Cobb in the MSk Lab and Dr Richard van Arkel and Professor Andrew Amis from the Biomechanics group, in the department of Mechanical Engineering.
